LIVING HOPES aims to reach out to the most vulnerable sections of the society - the abandoned child, and the uncared-for elderly citizen in the twilight of his/her life.
We at LIVING HOPES firmly believe that it is the responsibility of the entire society to ensure that:
- Every child shall have access to nutritious food and education.
- Every elder shall be entitled to food, shelter, and emotional support.
Living Hopes is a registered, non-profit service organization, tax exempt under IRC section 501(C) (3) (USA) and a 80G IT certified NGO (society) in India.
Children
India has one of the highest numbers of children without access to the basic needs of food, education and a roof over their heads. As per a United Nations evaluation, India has the maximum of malnourished children, even leading to death due to starvation.
Seniors
The elderly citizens have given their lives, earning livelihood for their families, nurturing their children, providing the foundation for a better future. In the twilight years of their lives, these elderly people deserve a life of dignity and care. Yet some of them are left without financial or social support all over India.
